FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When should I arrive?
To enjoy your spa experience to the fullest, we recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled  appointment time.

What is your reservation/Cancellation policy?
Reservations are recommended.  Walk-in appointments are welcome upon availability.  We require a  24 hour advanced notice for cancellations or re-scheduling a spa service and 48 hour advanced notice for cancellations on all packages and spa parties.

A credit card or gift certificate number is required to hold all spa appointments.

Can I purchase a gift certificate?
Gift Certificates are a wonderful way to give the gift of relaxation and renewal.  You may purchase a Gift Certificate online, at the spa reception desk or by  calling (860)621-9500.

Please present Gift Card upon arrival.  We are pleased to accept  Spa Finder, Way Spa.

What  should I wear?
Our Spa will never compromise your modesty.  Most often, you will be given a robe and sandals to change into before your treatment.  Under the robe? It's up to you.  Therapists will only expose the portion of your body that is being treated at the time.  If you are having a  treatment for the first time, feel free to ask the spa staff how you should be dressed.

It is best to remove jewelry before a treatment or leave it at home.

Can I bring my children to the spa?
Our safety policy prohibits children from entering the Spa area.

Do I have to talk during my treatment?
It’s entirely up to you.  If you have questions or would like to talk, certainly do so quietly.
Your therapist may leave your treatment room for a few moments to mix up a product or to let you
Relax.  They should let you know before they leave the room and make sure you are comfortable with your surroundings.

If your therapist’s touch is too rough or too light - speak up!   Also, tell your therapist if the temperature of the room bothers you, the music is too loud, etc..  If you have a particular injury or physical condition, explain it to the therapist.

Why am I asked to turn off my cell phone at the Spa?
Our spa provides an atmosphere of peace, tranquility and gentle comfort; they are a place where you can set aside all the noise and rush of the world outside, allowing you to relax and enjoy your spa  experience.

Additionally, spa etiquette requests you speak quietly, close doors gently and respect the soothing environment of the spa.  Loud noises  are distracting and disruptive in a spa environment.

What is your payment policy?
In addition to cash and debit card, we accept personal checks, MasterCard, Visa & Discover.

What is considered proper Spa Etiquette regarding tipping/Gratuities?
Gratuities are always up to our guests discretion.  The spa suggests 18 - 20% cash gratuity directly to the service provider.  Gratuities may not be added to a credit card payment.
